The release bearing / clutch release bearing is a truck spare part in the clutch system, located between the pressure plate / clutch cover and the release fork. Its function is to transmit the pushing force generated by the release fork when the clutch pedal is pressed, to the diaphragm spring attached to the pressure plate / clutch cover.

Components of the Release Bearing:

• Hub: the part of the release bearing directly connected to the release fork, serving as the mounting base of the release bearing.

• Resin seat & rubber seat: function as vibration dampers when the diaphragm spring comes into contact with the release bearing.

• Self-centering release bearing: ensures proper alignment during operation.

• Snap ring & wave washer: function as retainers to keep the release bearing securely in place within the hub.
